in 1995 upon the expertise and vision of Ranjit De Alwis and Philippe
Gevenois the Management team has expanded over the years and broadened
its scope of operations. In a fast moving market, Xpectis is constantly
re-evaluating its activities and reflecting its conclusions on the
management structure.
Ranjit De Alwis (Chairman and Partner)
Ranjit was the Managing Director of Cedel before creating Streamlined
Solutions & Services with Philippe Gevenois in 1995. At Cedel,
he also served as the Chairman of the Cedel subsidiaries Liberty
S.A. and Cedel Information Services, Ltd. and of the Cedel Strategy
and User Advisory Groups. Before joining Cedel, Ranjit worked at
IBM for 25 years and held many executive positions in the UK, France
and the USA. Among other positions at IBM, Ranjit served as the
executive in charge of business operations, information technology
and network services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Philippe Gevenois (Managing Director
and Partner)
Philippe was the Director of Technology and Product Development
at Cedel with responsibility for IT strategy, architecture and all
Cedel's software development. He left Cedel in 1995 to create Streamlined
Solutions & Services together with Ranjit De Alwis. Philippe
worked at Euroclear for 11 years before moving to Cedel and served
as the head of Euroclear's Application Development Department. Philippe
graduated from the University of Mons as a Civil Engineer with a
specialisation in electronics. He also taught applied mathematics
as an assistant at the same university for two years after graduating.
Alain Moulart (Chief Technology Officer)
Alain was the Head of Technology Services at the Euroclear Operations
Centre for seven years with responsibility for Euroclear's technology
direction and numerous major technology projects. His career at
Euroclear started in 1982 as a systems engineer. Alain graduated
as a Civil Engineer with a specialisation in electronics from the
University of Liège. He then went on to obtain an advanced
degree in computer science and work as an assistant for two years
at the same university. Alain joined Xpectis in early 2000.
