MasterCard alliance, brands accepted globally.
Mastercard Europe (previously called Europay International until the merger in 2001) offers its more than 9000 members the widest possible range of payment products and services that are accepted across Europe, and through its alliance with MasterCard International, the rest of the world. More than 1.7 billion MasterCard, Cirrus and Maestro logos are present on credit, charge and debit cards in circulation today. More than 28 million locations accept these cards. MasterCard customers are more than 15,000 member financial institutions, serving consumers in 210 countries and territories.
