An important part of the physical securities handling at ING Belgium depends on manual processes, asking for an advanced knowledge of the branches employees and generating a high rate of errors at the back office side. Two such activities in this workflow are:
- The collection of coupons for payments
- The collection of bonds certificates for final reimbursement
The Physical Coupons Handling project (PCH) will provide a computer based user interface to ING branches and back-office users in order to support a straight through processing of the related transactions. Following the success of the delivery of the PSH application, ING requested that Xpectis undertake the analysis, development and roll out of the PCH project.
